Along with Anna's amazing developments of becoming a real mover and shaker also come sacrifices.

The poor cats.

She has a love for splashing. And she has found their water bowls. Not a good combination if you catch my drift. I must warn you, for those of you who are faint of heart, read no further.

Against all my ethics on keeping a pretty clean house, the bowls have been temporarily moved to the dining room table during the day. Sigh.

Right smack on top of the table. 

Yup, it is no joke.

And while I am there, having a drink, I might as well take a rest.

I have learned, as a new mom, to pick your battles. You just don't have time to do it all. And you do what makes life just that much easier. You remove things that are within arms reach of a little. Keeping it simple.

So the bowls are on the dining room table. The way I see it, the cats are happy, baby stays dry and it's one less mess to clean. C'est la vie!
