From there we went to Grams and Opa's new home in Exeter where we had an overnight stay. Anna loved getting some TLC from her grandparents and meeting their new friends during brunch on Sunday. She was thrilled to walk around and enjoy the outdoors.
Opa playing with Anna..
And who did we bump into during our walk in downtown Exeter on Sunday...Mimi and Papa! (a week after their return from Russia.)
Feeling pretty blessed right now. With our parents close by, healthy, happy and so full of vigor...Anna is one lucky baby.Oh and did I mention it was Opa's Birthday on Saturday. Looking pretty good, don't you think? (sorry Dad, couldn't resist!)
---------------------------------------------
On Memorial Day, Anna attended her very first hometown parade.
Right here in Attleboro.
Spent with her friend, Asa. Which, after a hot morning watching the festivities, they cooled down in Asa's baby pool.
And played in the grass.
The icing on the cake was an impromptu stroll through the park with Daddy, where the local ice cream truck was parked so we got ourselves a watermelon slushy. And we couldn't leave without giving Anna a few swings in the playground infant swing set - one of her favorite things to do. Strawberry shortcake and food on the grill to top it all off...what a delicious weekend it was. Happy Memorial!
And Anna's godmother, Aunty Mandy, is coming back from Austria tomorrow. We've missed you, Mandy and will be so happy to have you back!
